Content: This role will require a good vocal range and different voice types. This role includes Wordfox as well as some semi-major characters.

Semi major characters include:

Character 01 – Wordfox (624) – Medieval English known as Common accent – sneering poet with delusions of grandeur. Reedy, high-pitched voice.

Audition line directions:
1. In this scene, Wordfox realises the person he’s speaking to is suicidal.
2. Wordfox performs his poetry.

Audition lines:
1. Wordfox: You think you are one of those who simply goes to die, don’t you? Maybe my words will inspire you to do differently.
2. Wordfox: To step beyond the thorn bush is a crime against his nature, for he knows what lies beyond.
