Character 02 – The Old Devil (378) – Medieval English known as Common accent – Mean old alcoholic abusive father of Thephos.

Audition line directions:
1. In this scene, Mason is mocking someone whose picking a fight.
2. In this moment, Mason is angry and yelling.
3. The Old Devil is reacting to his son finally standing up to him after years of torture, but still uses ‘Theffy’ as an insult.

Audition lines:
1. Mason: Fool! You’re outnumbered five against two.
2. Mason: She tried to shoot me. Your one eye blinds you, woman. Here’s what I see.
3. The Old Devil: You saying I should have died? Like it was the honorable thing to do? You calling me a coward. Theffy? You?
