We are seeking voice actors for the audiobook version of Michael Michel's "Dreams of Dust and Steel Book 1: The Price of Power." This narrative unfolds in a fantasy realm of swords and sorcery reminiscent of Game of Thrones and delves into profound themes such as self-doubt, guilt, and sacrifice.

The Princess of Namarr and the next in line for the throne. She’s another main character. Her days are juggling enemies expectations, preparing for her future-role, and proving that she can live up to the family name. But it’s not all work. She dreams of her love interest, Lodaris, and loves training her tiger, Rakeema. She is extremely anxious of living up to expectations. However, she is still very naive with her world views.

Voice type needed:
FEMALE - Young female. Teen. 15.
Subtle Icelandic accent referred to as Anjuhk.
Character archetype – A young teenage girl. Her tone is formal and elegant. But with the ability of fast wit and sharp tongue.

Audition line directions:
This is a formal scene, trying to gain the trust of a powerful and judgemental leader.

In this moment, Ishoa is passionately expressing her opinions to her love interest and arguing against his horrible view of himself.

Ishoa is angry and shocked that Lodaris’ mother is willing to sacrifice him for political gains.

Audition lines:
I am especially pleased to know your son will be the first Scarborn Claimant to participate in the Trails.

Passionate? Honorable? Strong? You’re many things, Lodaris. Not all of them must be measured against your parents. Or anyone, for that matter.

No one will ever love you, Lodecka, and you know it.That’s why it’s okay for you to hit Lodaris. His love could never find a home in you. To me, you’re just a failed mother. Too pathetic to fear. And if Lodaris dies……at least he’ll be free of you.
