This is a project for a major Bank and shines a light on a Coach's influence; both on and beyond the pitch.
In the film we see a grassroots football coach delivering a half-time script to her team but we see how her words travel far beyond the pitch and deep into the lives of those she and coaches like her have helped.
Everything here needs to feel authentic – lived in as if we found these people in a real moment of time...a sense of grit, a sense of something alive in the evening air and within that the people we put on screen are at the heart of this film.
We're looking for people who have a bit of attitude and light in them; each of them immediately relatable.

Archie - Boy Carrying Shopping - age 8-11
A small kid with a big voice – he has been at school, then football training, and is now on the wrong end of a twenty-minute walk home with a week’s worth of shopping.
A street lamp flickers along the end of a high street - illuminating Sarah. She is still wearing her supermarket uniform under her coat, as he pushes a pram with shopping bags hanging from the handles.
A few steps behind her, her son Archie carries the rest – both arms full of carrier bags, the weight of them starting to show.
Archie looks up at his Mum ahead of him. Takes a breath. Quietly peps himself up – “c’mon” – and starts moving again. Catches up and then strides ahead.
Sarah glances over to see Archie overtake – It forces her to pick up the pace. - Salary
