Although this is a casting for a Xmas commercial for a shopping centre in Manchester, we are filming in a studio in East London so are looking for London (South-East) based talent only.


It will only be shown in the Greater Manchester area and will be aired for less than 2 months.

It is a quirky, fun Christmas ad that subverts traditional Christmas stereotypes. We will be showing 3 different Christmas scenes in 3 homes next door to each other. Each scene shows an extraordinary event take place within a traditional setting.

We’re looking for someone who resembles the traditional Santa Claus (white beard, wavy/curly hair) but with a difference!

We’re looking for someone with tattoos visible on the arms, either full tattoo sleeves or large, prominent arm/neck tattoos.

He’ll be stood in the centre of a large table dressed for Christmas dinner, standing over the Christmas turkey, ready to serve for the wider family gathering.

He’s bought the wrong size turkey for Christmas dinner and it’s too small for the size of the family gathering. As he brings the turkey to the dinner table, he has a slight look of guilt, hoping no one will say anything. As he places the turkey down, the young daughter of a relative is staring at him in awe, assuming he’s the real Santa Claus. This adds to his guilt of bringing such a small and disappointing Christmas turkey.
