Although this is a casting for a Xmas commercial for a shopping centre in Manchester, we are filming in a studio in East London so are looking for London (South-East) based talent only.
It will only be shown in the Greater Manchester area and will be aired for less than 2 months.
It is a quirky, fun Christmas ad that subverts traditional Christmas stereotypes. We will be showing 3 different Christmas scenes in 3 homes next door to each other. Each scene shows an extraordinary event take place within a traditional setting. - Dates

We are seeking a believable couple, aged 30–40. Real couples would be great but this is not essential.
We are looking for performers of all ethnicities and backgrounds and are keen to see a naturally diverse range of couples.
The husband has been left alone to buy and decorate the Christmas tree. The rest of the house is already decorated, but he has left it until the last minute — so the only tree he can find is a palm tree.
The wife comes home just as he places the final bauble on it. She is unimpressed. He switches on the lights with a hopeful “ta-da” gesture; she remains unimpressed.
The performances need to feel authentic and genuine rather than exaggerated. As the wife enters through the front door there should be a double take that shows a genuine surprised expression that transitions into an unimpressed expression. For the husband, his back is to the front door as he’s placing the last bauble on the tree, as his wife comes home, he turns toward her, hoping she’ll love the tree, with an optimistic expression.
Looking for strong facial expressions
