Although this is a casting for a Xmas commercial for a shopping centre in Manchester, we are filming in a studio in East London so are looking for London (South-East) based talent only.
It will only be shown in the Greater Manchester area and will be aired for less than 2 months.
It is a quirky, fun Christmas ad that subverts traditional Christmas stereotypes. We will be showing 3 different Christmas scenes in 3 homes next door to each other. Each scene shows an extraordinary event take place within a traditional setting. - Dates

He sneaks downstairs in the early hours of Christmas morning to take a sneak peek at some of his presents. He arrives at a huge pile of presents under the tree and takes a small box off the top of the pile.
As he opens the small present, suddenly a giant nutcracker grows to touch the ceiling of the room, knocking over the Christmas tree as it grows. It’s a Christmas miracle that such a small present box could contain such a large nutcracker toy.
The boy admires the enormous nutcracker with awe as it towers over him.
The performance should feel cheeky, with fun physicality. When the nutcracker quickly grows out of the small present box, the boy should be awe-inspired looking up at the nutcracker that’s now touching the ceiling.
Looking for strong facial expressions
