Gender: Open to any gender — casting on performance and eyes

Ethnicity: Open to all ethnicities

Traits: Wide-eyed, absorbed, quietly fascinated. A kid with that total absorption children have when they're allowed to watch something they love for a long time. Casting on stillness and on the eyes.

Self-Tape Instructions:
Slate: Name, age, height, city, agency (if any). Say hello and tell us one thing you like doing.

Self-Tape 1 — The Scene: Feed a fish tank if you have one, or just pretend. Then watch the fish for about fifteen seconds, and while you're watching, change how you're sitting a couple of times: chin resting in your hands, then lean right in and put your forehead and nose against the glass with one hand flat on it too. See how still you can be while you're really looking at something. Then a flash of lightning lights up the tank. Start counting on your fingers — one, two, three — no talking, just your fingers, waiting for the thunder. When it comes, drop your hand and go back to watching the fish. Framing: head and shoulders, from the side if you can.

Self-Tape 2 — Range: Tell the fish about your day. Quietly, like nobody else is listening.

Props and Wardrobe (suggestion only): Comfy clothes and socks, a stool or low chair.

Note for Parents: This is a small, gentle, non-speaking role. Most of it is your child sitting and watching a fish tank. A parent or guardian is present on set at all times, and hours follow all provincial regulations.

Salary

Total Session + Buyout Fee: $400 CAD inclusive of any taxes and applicable Agency Fees
