An '80s Folk-Horror Slasher Inspired by Shakespeare's Classic
Five recent college grads venture to a remote cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains, hoping for a final, unforgettable summer weekend. Instead, they find themselves in a nightmare awash with neon and synth beats. Their encounter with a local moonshine stirs up long-hidden secrets, and a sudden violent act stains the ancient forest with blood, unintentionally releasing a wrathful pagan deity imprisoned in the woods. Thrown into a realm where the natural order is disrupted and a terrifying entity starts a relentless pursuit, these friends must let go of their carefully crafted facades to make it through the night.
Please Note: Midsummer Night Scream is an intense and immersive horror experience featuring stylised violence, body horror, and exploring themes such as internalised homophobia, parental grief, and psychological trauma. - Dates

The ancient, patient horror at the center of the play. Oberon is a vengeful forest deity — the King of these dark woods, Lord of Beasts, Destroyer of Illusion — who has been waiting in the hemlock roots for exactly this night. He is not a villain who monologues. He is a presence. He does not pursue. He does not hurry. He simply is, and the world arranges itself around him.
In the finale, Oberon speaks through a possessed human vessel — trading the movement-based terror of his early appearances for something more intimate and more disturbing. Two performances in one body.
This role lives or dies on physical specificity. Oberon's power is in what he doesn't do — the stillness, the patience, the unhurried quality of something that has been awake since before the forest had a name.
Skill Set Required: Strong movement and/or dance background. Physical theatre training preferred. Comfort with stillness as performance. An instinct for negative space. - Salary
- $625 flat rate

- Male Only
- Age
- 35 - 50
