Outskirts is a brown-british comedy-drama, an experience of youth and adolescence in 2008. Taghavi’s narrative debut encompasses his life through the prism of his teenage years. Set in a small town of Potters Bar, Hertfordshire (UK). Where the number one fried chicken shop is at the heart of the town and bossman’s son, Mania and his friends utilize it as a base in their day to day. A portrait of teenage boys growing inside a glided cage, in search of themselves and how they identify as a collective. Their lifestyle influenced by hip-hop culture and UK Grime coming from London. Which feels like a holiday when they visit the city for Mania’s recording studio session in Tottenham and opens their eyes to two different worlds. A coming-of-age film where Mania and his eldest brother Mal grow up under the conditions of a Christian and Muslim household.

Outskirts explores brotherhood through blood and friendships. Giving a musical slice of what was once the small-town nightlife culture to multiple generations and defining the musical fabric of Potters Bar at one moment in time.

On screen age 16. Caucasian. White British. brown hair. Think Steed Malbranque when he played for Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur. Your appearance can seem like you're another ethnicity than white British.

The Godfather always ends up in goal when playing headers and volleys with Mania, Airmax Ben and Crouchy. He's always too slow to call bugsey not in goal. But he's a better goalkeeper than an outfield player. He loves wrestling and his favourite wrestling move is the Rock Bottom. Which he delivers to Airmax Ben when they're wrestling on webcam.

The Godfather is a stranger to Mania's mum's homemade Middle Eastern food. To jokingly criticise it before trying it. But when he does, he eats everything on his plate with pleasure.

To fulfil this role you must be skilful at football, a wrestling fan and even better if your a fan of The Rock (Dwayne Johnson).

Salary

Equity Minimum agreement at £120 per day for a 10 plus 1 working day (8 plus 1 if actor is below 18).
