Outskirts is a brown-british comedy-drama, an experience of youth and adolescence in 2008. Taghavi’s narrative debut encompasses his life through the prism of his teenage years. Set in a small town of Potters Bar, Hertfordshire (UK). Where the number one fried chicken shop is at the heart of the town and bossman’s son, Mania and his friends utilize it as a base in their day to day. A portrait of teenage boys growing inside a glided cage, in search of themselves and how they identify as a collective. Their lifestyle influenced by hip-hop culture and UK Grime coming from London. Which feels like a holiday when they visit the city for Mania’s recording studio session in Tottenham and opens their eyes to two different worlds. A coming-of-age film where Mania and his eldest brother Mal grow up under the conditions of a Christian and Muslim household.

Outskirts explores brotherhood through blood and friendships. Giving a musical slice of what was once the small-town nightlife culture to multiple generations and defining the musical fabric of Potters Bar at one moment in time.

On screen age 16. Caucasian. White British. Blonde/golden brown hair . Think a teenage Peter Crouch.

Lloyd really embodied the nickname Crouchy after a school trip to the 2006 Germany World Cup. He loves football, video games and commentating on a WF microphone whilst Mania, Airmax Ben and The Godfather wrestle on webcam.

Crouchy is no stranger to Mania's mum's home made Middle Eastern food. And clears his plate without questioning it like The Godfather and Airmax Ben.

To fulfil this role you must be skilful at football, able to do the robot Peter Crouch's celebration and confident in commentating actions that are being carried out by other characters whilst playing football and wrestling.

Salary

Equity Minimum agreement at £120 per day for a 10 plus 1 working day (8 plus 1 if actor is below 18).
