Seeking four versatile actors for both on-screen roles and voice-over recordings in "Unsent Letters," a series of four short films inspired by authentic posts from the r/UnsentLetters community.

Each film intertwines an anonymous letter with a straightforward, cinematic one-shot depiction of a fictional character. While the words remain true to their original form, the visual representation of people and worlds are based on our interpretation.

On-Screen: We are looking for distinctive, compelling, and genuine faces. Actors should possess a strong screen presence and the ability to convey deep emotions through subtle expressions.

Voice-Over: We desire voices that resonate with authenticity, capturing the essence of real individuals rather than conventional voice actors. The performances should give the impression of hearing their deepest thoughts, akin to personal diary entries—intimate and vulnerable. We encourage a diverse mix of regional accents, backgrounds, and vocal textures across the four films.

A man alone in the kitchen of the flat he now calls home.

This character has previously experienced homelessness. We do not want to visually stereotype homelessness or cast someone because they look damaged, rough or vulnerable. The important thing is that today he simply looks like a man in his own home.

Watch him slowly and carefully make a sandwich: taking ingredients from the fridge, selecting utensils, wiping crumbs away and finally wrapping it in foil. Then, just as we assume he's finished, he begins making a second sandwich.

That tiny final action is everything: someone once stopped to feed him at his lowest point; now he has become the person able to provide for somebody else.

We need someone who can hold the screen for over two minutes performing an incredibly ordinary physical task. There should be thoughtfulness and care in his movements without them ever becoming theatrical.

Performance: grounded, gentle, contained. A rich internal life.
