Seeking four versatile actors for both on-screen roles and voice-over recordings in "Unsent Letters," a series of four short films inspired by authentic posts from the r/UnsentLetters community.

Each film intertwines an anonymous letter with a straightforward, cinematic one-shot depiction of a fictional character. While the words remain true to their original form, the visual representation of people and worlds are based on our interpretation.

On-Screen: We are looking for distinctive, compelling, and genuine faces. Actors should possess a strong screen presence and the ability to convey deep emotions through subtle expressions.

Voice-Over: We desire voices that resonate with authenticity, capturing the essence of real individuals rather than conventional voice actors. The performances should give the impression of hearing their deepest thoughts, akin to personal diary entries—intimate and vulnerable. We encourage a diverse mix of regional accents, backgrounds, and vocal textures across the four films.

A woman alone at home, transfixed by her washing machine.

Want someone with a magnetic quality - a face you could happily watch thinking for 50 seconds. There is nothing conventionally dramatic happening externally, so her ability to inhabit stillness is essential.

She watches a white wash spinning inside the machine. Gradually a rogue red item begins turning everything pink. The mundane domestic accident becomes a tiny visual manifestation of love entering and colouring someone's otherwise ordinary life.

The character is contemplating the extraordinary value of something completely ordinary: another person simply continuing to exist in the world alongside her.

Again, we don't want her visibly "thinking about love". She might be tired, distracted, peaceful, bored or faintly amused by her laundry disaster. The VO carries the interior world.

Performance: effortless, observational, subtle. Someone with a strong presence at rest.
