Story: A family bustles to get their home ready for a big Diwali party. Mom proudly puts out her
homemade mithai — then catches her son happily eating through the arrangement. While she’s
in shock, the doorbell rings: guests already?! Panic — but Dad coolly opens the door to a
Walmart delivery of fresh mithai. The table is saved and laden just as the second bell rings with
the real guests; Mom flashes her hostess smile and slyly nudges the empty Walmart bag under
the tablecloth. Two doorbells: bell #1 = the Walmart delivery save; bell #2 = real guests implied
(never shown).
SLATE: your name, height. location and age (kids). Indicate if you speak any
South Asian languages. A full body (360 degree) shot. - Dates

DELIVERY PERSON - 25-35 - Male - SOUTH ASIAN - SOC Modern South Asian look;
cheerful, fresh, and energetic — a real delivery professional with an easy familiarity that belongs
in this celebration, not a spokesperson entering the scene. He knows the products he’s
delivering — laddoos, sohan papdi, farsans — and the role they play in Diwali celebrations; the
items should clearly read as brought from outside. The reveal may get a heightened treatment,
while his performance remains warm, grounded and genuinely helpful rather than knowing
heroic.
Wardrobe Suggestion: Casual with solid color. NO LOGO
Selftape details:
1.The handoff scene — two takes. Approach the “doorway” with upbeat professional energy,
holding a plain reusable bag or small box. The door opens: light up with a warm, genuine smile,
greet the dad, and present the delivery with care — supported with both hands, contents angled
as if visible to camera — then hold one brief friendly beat. Take 1 natural professional (real,
simple, service-oriented, no dialogue needed); Take 2 festive energy (brighter Diwali warmth
and momentum, with a bright ad-lib greeting — “Happy Diwali! Your mithai’s here!” or your own
words, Hinglish welcome — without turning it into a sales pitch).
2.Optional Ad-lib (15–20s, to camera). In your own words, tell us what you’re delivering to this
family for their Diwali party — as if you know exactly why laddoos, sohan papdi, and farsan
matter tonight. Cheerful, fresh, energetic. - Salary
