Short-Film: STEVIE

Content
STEVIE is an intimate psychological drama with elements of magical realism, exploring desire, guilt and the possibility of second chances.
Stevie, a former university lecturer whose life has unravelled, discovers that he can seemingly manifest whatever he desires. Money, possessions and even his physical appearance become his to change.
But when Maya — the woman he loves — unexpectedly appears in his flat, Stevie's extraordinary new reality begins to take a darker and increasingly unsettling turn.
The film moves from dark humour and magical realism into an intimate and emotionally charged confrontation between two people with a complicated shared history.
Written and directed by Marc Taylor and produced under Shemoo Films.
