Casting actors for a one-act play festival in midtown Manhattan at the People's Improv Theater (PIT)! There will be four plays in total ranging from comedy to drama to be performed over the course of the second weekend of December 2026. This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity and all ethnicities/genders/levels of experience are welcome to audition! Video audition submissions will be accepted through October 4, 2026.

Elizabeth: Mercy’s close friend and a determined participant in the Salem witch trials. Intelligent, ambitious, and increasingly consumed by the power the accusations give her, Elizabeth believes she has finally found a way to make the world listen to her.

PLAY SYNOPSIS (Ghostwriter): When struggling writer Clark agrees to help longtime friend Annie finish her play about the Salem Witch Trials, the two begin a creative journey that blurs the lines between history, fiction, and their own lives. But as Clark becomes increasingly consumed by the story, he must confront secrets from the past, and discover just how much of Annie's story he is truly meant to tell.
