Haunted is based on the popular audio drama series which is currently nearing the end of its third season. We are currently casting for actors to take part in a cold open scene at the top of the movie. The scene is designed to be evocative of cheesy 1980s slasher movies so relies on recognisable character types and has a slightly over-the-top style of acting.

We will be asking candidates to do a short self-tape audition if they are interested in the role.

The scene is designed to feel like a run of the mill 1980s slasher movie, which is ultimately revealed to be a representation of a story being told by teens at a sleepover. Ideally for the role of Glen we are looking for the typical "jock/dude bro" vibe; athletic, confident, not the brightest bulb but otherwise harmless. A little bit under the thumb of his girlfriend Nancy but not quite intelligent enough to realise it. The idea is for the performances in this scene to be just a little hammy in order to evoke that low-budget slasher movie feeling.

We will be asking applicants to complete a short self-tape audition for the role.
