We are casting for several new vertical dramas for Shorties Studios all shooting before the end of December. These vertical dramas are being produced for one of the largest global platforms.

TWO LEAD ROLES and TWO SUPPORTING ROLES MUST HAVE BEGINNER - INTERMEDIATE TENNIS SKILLS . Actors will need to send a videos of them playing tennis with their self tapes.

Tennis Courting
Maggie Donovan, a hard-working kitchen worker at an prestigious country club, secretly possesses a killer tennis game. After she publicly humiliates the club's arrogant golden boy Elliott Longfellow on the court, they are forced into an uneasy mixed-doubles partnership so Elliott can impress university scouts and Maggie can win a scholarship.

Hampton (20) is Elliott’s longtime friend and rival on the court, forever coming in second.

Good looking and charming where Elliott is abrasive, Hampton initially seems like the rare member who actually sees Maggie. But Hampton’s feelings for Maggie grow just as her partnership with Elliott begins making Elliott nearly unbeatable. Jealous of their romance and threatened by their success on the court, Hampton realises the easiest way to finally beat Elliott is to destroy the one thing making him better - Maggie.

We are looking for an actor who can play charming but underneath there is a malevolence to his character.

Actor will be needed for 3-5 shoot dates TBC

Salary

£250 per day £125 for rehearsal - full day (if needed) £50 for wardrobe / fitting up to 2 hours £125 (if fitting and table read are on the same day up to 6 hours) Travel costs capped at £15 per day on public transport. Please provide receipts. If location is outside of London we will provide hotel and transport and per diem of £25 per day.
