Kit (28) is more contained than Owen.

He is organised, observant and noticeably more conscious of his surroundings. His apartment reflects this: considered, beautiful and controlled, although the apparent order begins to reveal small contradictions.
Kit is preparing dinner for friends, but his attention repeatedly returns to Owen. He notices things Owen assumes he doesn't notice.
Where Owen uses humour to avoid directness, Kit tends to retreat into practicality and understatement. His relationship with Owen carries the weight of a shared history. The fact that he has kept something as ordinary as Owen's old T-shirt for years becomes quietly significant, not because the object itself is extraordinary, but because of what it suggests about what Kit has chosen not to discard.
