This commercial is for an international money transfer company based in Australia.

Shooting in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are looking for two actors to feature in two humorous scenes, one actor per scene, following our characters as they adjust to life in Australia after recently moving there and embrace the Aussie way of life.

Please make sure all talent has a valid passport with at least 6 months left before expiry.

Sanj is a guy of Indian descent who is aged 30-40.
He has recently emigrated to Australia and is trying to fit in with the Aussie way of life.
In this scene we see Sanj wearing a pair of budgie smugglers in various (non-suitable) locations.

The actor should be comfortable appearing on camera (and self-taping) in just a pair of budgie smugglers!

We are looking for interesting, distinctive looks and faces that immediately suggest a story.
A quirk, not someone who feels “quirky.” There should be something individual and slightly unexpected about them — an immediate backstory that makes you want to know more about who they are.

They should be strong comedic performers, particularly people who can create funny moments through minimal expression, timing, a look or a tiny reaction, rather than relying on broad comedy.
Most importantly, they should feel real and unperformed.

We are looking for idiosyncratic, interesting faces with genuine character — people who feel like you could encounter them in real life, but who become compelling on camera.
In short: distinctive faces, natural performers, subtle comedy, immediate character and a sense that there is a whole story behind each person.

Someone who can play with subtle physical comedy.
