This commercial is for an international money transfer company based in Australia.

Shooting in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are looking for two actors to feature in two humorous scenes, one actor per scene, following our characters as they adjust to life in Australia after recently moving there and embrace the Aussie way of life.

Please make sure all talent has a valid passport with at least 6 months left before expiry.

Mitch is a guy aged 30-40.

He has recently emigrated to Australia and is trying to fit in with the Aussie way of life. In this scene we see Mitch attempting to BBQ like an Aussie with disastrous results.
We are looking for interesting, distinctive looks and faces that immediately suggest a story.
A quirk, not someone who feels “quirky.” There should be something individual and slightly unexpected about them — an immediate backstory that makes you want to know more about who they are.
They should be strong comedic performers, particularly people who can create funny moments through minimal expression, timing, a look or a tiny reaction, rather than relying on broad comedy.
Most importantly, they should feel real and unperformed.

We are looking for idiosyncratic, interesting faces with genuine character — people who feel like you could encounter them in real life, but who become compelling on camera.
In short: distinctive faces, natural performers, subtle comedy, immediate character and a sense that there is a whole story behind each person.

Someone who can play with subtle physical comedy.

Salary

DAILY FEE: €720 per shooting day (+ 23.8% agency fee & insurance fee) BUYOUT FEE: €3000 + 20% agency fees TRAVEL DAYS: 50% daily fee (+ 23.8% agency fee & insurance fee) DOWN DAYS: 50% daily fee (+ 23.8% agency fee & insurance fee) WORKING HOURS: 9hrs (8 + 1 meal) OVERTIME: €108 per 1xOT (+ 23.8% agency fee & insurance fee) CALLBACK: €60 (+ 23.8% agency fee & insurance fee) FITTING: €60 (for 2 hours) (+ 23.8% agency fee & insurance fee)
