We are back for our fifth year onboard steam trains at heritage railways, throughout the United Kingdom!
Come and join the festive fun for a unique and immersive theatrical experience on board moving vintage steam trains. We are seeking enthusiastic, versatile, and high-energy performers to bring Christmas magic to life for thousands of families across the UK.
Location
We are currently recruiting performers for our Santa's Steam Train Adventure production, departing from Ribble Steam Railway & Museum (PR2 2PD) in Preston.
Local Residency Requirement: We are looking for performers who are locally based in Lancashire or who are happy to base themselves locally or within easy travel distance for the duration of the run (please note that travel and accommodation are not provided for this specific venue). - Dates

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th
Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th, Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd

Train departures: 10.30/11.55/13.20/14.45/16.10
Train journey: 55 minutes
Break: 30 minutes between every journey.

A key host of the on-board experience! Mother Christmas travels through the train alongside her cheeky elf, spreading festive cheer, handing out storybooks to every child, and keeping the audience engaged throughout the journey.
Looking for a performer with warm and maternal presence, exceptional audience rapport and quick improvisational wit to interact seamlessly with children and parents alike.
Costume: Full, high-quality Mother Christmas costume and theatrical wig is provided (except boots/shoes). - Salary
- Contract Fee: £1,440 Lunch Fee: £7.50 per day Moving Train Performance: Performers must be comfortable working on moving trains with narrow aisles and in close proximity to audiences.
