Casting call for "Killjoys," a short film. Synopsis: Following a distressing incident that results in one best friend suffering a broken nose, a frightened college student believes the only way to rectify the situation is by inflicting harm on himself. This ordeal compels the two friends to explore their unconventional perceptions of masculinity and friendship.

Tall, broad/burly, physically imposing but emotionally gentle. A college football center and team captain, warm and protective, everybody's support system. Values being there for someone above all. Looking for someone who can convincingly play the physical presence of a football player, with genuine emotional sensitivity under it; Asher should never feel like a dumb jock stereotype. Must be comfortable wearing a nose cast and with fake cigarettes.
