Project Overview: We're filming a series of street-style interviews for the UK's top fresh dog food brand, featuring genuine dog owners with their pets. You'll be assigned a specific persona and receive all necessary materials—your character brief, scripts, and key points—before the shoot. We ask that you memorize these to ensure a natural performance, rather than reading from a script.

Filming Details: The shoot will take about 45 minutes and will include you and your dog. A presenter will guide you through a sequence including an introduction, some trivia, several questions, and a product pitch. Your role is to deliver your persona's lines convincingly, as if they are your own thoughts.

Casting Rationale: Our approach hinges on authenticity; the success of this project depends on it feeling genuine rather than like a commercial. We are looking for individuals who can embody a persona, deliver scripted lines naturally, and maintain a real connection with their dog on camera. The self-tape audition gives us a glimpse into how well you can achieve this.

Who we're looking for. A woman, 35 to 44, to play the role of a mother. She works, full or part time, and runs a full household. UK-based. Warm, quick, funny, a little frazzled, real rather than polished. She does not currently feed fresh dog food and hasn't heard of Butternut. Happy to be stopped in the street with dog in tow.

The dog. A family dog: medium, robust, good around children. Labradors, Cockapoos, Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Labradoodles or a friendly crossbreed all work. Well-mannered on a lead.
