[MRS.] Woman; 60 to 80 years old; Black. Charismatic, with big energy. The grandmother who has seen everything, remembers all of it, and will tell you exactly what she thinks with a smile that makes it land softer than it should. She is never rushed. Never rattled. Never wrong. She corrects “Mr.” mid-sentence, not because she enjoys it, though she does, a little, but because accuracy matters to her and always has. The smirk is ever-present. It says: I already knew. I've always known. And I'm glad you're finally catching up. She is Jennifer Lewis if Jennifer Lewis had been keeping a scrapbook of sports receipts all his life. The authority is the same. The warmth is deep. The humor is QUIETER and more devastating. Calm. Unhurried. The kind of voice that has never needed to raise itself to be heard. SPEAKING ROLE. The actor chosen will need to be available to also be a spokesperson at events/games. So being a sports fan/ enthusiast is a huge plus but not necessary.
