This multi-role track is anchored by Mother, whose relationship with Ginny forms a key emotional thread in the play. We are seeking a performer who can balance care, pressure, humour, and generational tension with nuance and truth. The track also includes Penny (a former school bully), Natalie (a woman Ginny connects with through shared grief; French accent/fluency a bonus), and several other female-presenting roles.
The ideal performer will be a skilled character actor with strong comic instincts, emotional intelligence, and the ability to create vivid, distinct characters with minimal external transformation. Excellent vocal and physical versatility is essential, alongside confidence navigating tonal shifts, overlapping dialogue, satire, and heightened theatricality while maintaining emotional authenticity throughout. - Salary
- Guaranteed fee: £700 for the full engagement (rehearsals and performances); Bonus: Cast eligible for a weekly company bonus of £50 where average audience attendance reaches 80% or above (up to £150 total across the run).
