Roles Details

Title
Jerry & Others (Male Multi-Track Role)
Content
This multi-role track is anchored by Jerry, Ginny’s deceased fiancé and the emotional heartbeat of the play. We are seeking a performer who can bring warmth, intimacy, and emotional truth to a deeply affecting central relationship. The track also includes Seb (a charismatic online love interest), Kirk (an IKEA worker with a socially awkward, literal manner), and multiple online “Hims.”

The ideal performer will have strong comic timing, emotional depth, and excellent physical and vocal versatility, with the ability to shift fluidly between sincere, romantic, absurd, heightened, and unsettling characters. Distinct characterisation through movement, rhythm, posture, and voice is essential. We are looking for a generous, responsive scene partner who can build compelling chemistry with Ginny in both grounded and stylised scenes.
Salary
Guaranteed fee: £700 for the full engagement (rehearsals and performances); Bonus: Cast eligible for a weekly company bonus of £50 where average audience attendance reaches 80% or above (up to £150 total across the run). Cast will be engaged as independent contractors and are responsible for their own tax and National Insurance contributions. Cast members will receive an Agreement outlining the terms of engagement, which must be signed prior to rehearsals commencing.
