This important new campaign builds on last year’s “Two Sides of Summer” narrative: celebrating parents as the unsung heroes behind childhood memories, while acknowledging the hidden pressure many families face during the school holidays. ​

This year, we evolve that idea by exploring the different perspectives of summer, grounded in one simple belief:​ Summer belongs to us all.​

Meet Liam. He’s a joy. But he’s a handful. Cheeky smile; 9 years old, he lives with his mum in a perfectly ordinary Liam is the kind of child that people sometimes find a bit ‘much’. Easily distracted, he plays up - not delinquent but he teeters on the edges of it sometimes. Lives for footie and mostly hangs out with his best mate.

He loves his mum. He thinks she’s a legend, but he’s stuck in the phase where he’s pushing at the edges; playing up; seeking small freedoms. He is a happy child mostly but carries the contradiction of a child who’s had to grow too fast. He’s sensitive-ish to the fact that his mum has a hard time of it. She’s a bubbly soul but the work and money stuff can really get her down. Liam knows. She wants the best for him. He knows things are tough for her in a sideways way. When things get bouncy they argue. But there’s no lack of love.
