Elaine is in her late 70s and the survivor of a natural disaster (think, Superstorm Sandy in 2012 or Hurricane Katrina in 2005). She arrived at a disaster recovery center about 8 hours ago. She's alone, without any personal belongings and she's had nothing to eat since she arrived. She has limited mobility and there is no mobility aid nearby. She is neatly put together but appears to be bracing herself uncomfortably, hands on her thighs.
