"His Father's House is an independent horror film written and directed by Kenneth Lawrence and produced by Death Whistle Films.

The story follows a man who inherits his estranged father's secluded farmhouse, uncovering the ominous legacy it harbors.

Currently in pre-production under a SAG-AFTRA Ultra Low Budget Agreement, the film will be shot on ARRI Alexa Mini LF in Winchendon, MA.

The screenplay has been recognized, winning Best Screenplay at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and securing a Top 3 position at Screamfest. Lawrence's short films have been showcased at various international festivals, including Popcorn Frights and Telluride Horror Show, earning 19 awards in total.

His Father's House has established distribution deals and is set for an extensive festival circuit following its completion."

Young Mark is 7 years old. He is the younger version of the lead (half black and half white).

He appears in flashback sequences that form the dark heart of the film — tender moments with his mother, the terror of being locked in a pitch-black room, and a final scene of shocking violence that redefines everything that comes before it.

This is emotionally demanding material requiring a young actor of exceptional maturity and range capable of playing age 7.

Must be comfortable with intense dramatic content and working in a professional film environment.

An eyepatch will be worn throughout.

Parents/guardians should be aware of the nature of the material prior to auditioning.
