Performance notes:
Dave is calm, grounded and quietly confident. He watches the football properly rather than performing for the crowd. He never raises his voice and never feels flustered, even when everything around him is getting chaotic. His comedy comes from understatement and contrast.

He delivers lines like they are obvious facts, not jokes and definitely not ads. He should feel like someone whose phone just works, so he has nothing to get stressed about.
