10 First Dates is a funny, and emotional two-hander about a woman who, newly single after a 25-year marriage, decides to go on ten first dates. Based on a true story, the play follows Maggie as she navigates the chaos, comedy, and occasional heartbreak of modern dating in midlife—discovering along the way that the most important relationship she needs to rebuild is with herself.

This is a demanding and rewarding role for a character actor with exceptional range. The actor will play ten distinct men, each a different date, each with his own personality, physicality, and vocal quality. The ability to clearly differentiate all ten characters is essential. Accents required as needed although 'received pronunciation' (RP) is required for one of the characters.

Salary

All profits generated by the production, will be distributed to the actors in addition to any in-London travel expenses incurred.
