Casting “MINDY,” an experimental psychological short film made by University of Westminster film students.
A young woman searches for her sister, Mindy, through a dreamlike world where anonymous figures seem to prevent her from reaching her. As she attempts to rescue Mindy, her perception begins to unravel, forcing her to confront the truth about herself and her sister’s death.
The film explores guilt, grief and the stories we tell ourselves to cope with painful realities. Combining theatrical settings, stylised visuals and shifts between reality and imagination, it offers a performance-led story with an emphasis on emotional expression and physical acting. - Dates
- Filming is provisionally planned for mid-to-end of November 2026 in London, including the University of Westminster’s Harrow campus.
Potential locations include the campus soundstage, Electric Cinema, an exterior near a train station, and a white-room interior. Dates and locations remain subject to availability and the necessary filming permissions. The final schedule and location details will be confirmed with the cast.
