We are searching for a narrator for ‘You Knew’, a brand film for Hachette Learning, a venerable educational publisher with 150 years of experience providing trusted resources to schools, such as Reading Planet, Rocket Phonics, and various assessment and professional development tools.

This film is a tribute to teachers, highlighting their remarkable ability to look beyond the surface and unlock each student’s potential, often before anyone else. Teachers are portrayed as the true heroes in our narrative. The film embodies our brand values of joy, humanity, and expertise, so the narration should exude warmth and sincerity, avoiding any corporate tone.

The film is approximately 90 seconds long and begins by showcasing everyday classroom challenges: a struggling reader, an assessment that uncovers a deeper issue, a comprehension gap. This part requires a narration that is quiet, reflective, and somber. As the narrative progresses, it crescendos into an uplifting and celebratory conclusion.
