Dave is an elderly angel. He has a bit of an ageing rocker vibe and there is a suggestion (in his mind at least) that his past was a little less than angelic. Not the sharpest tool in the kit but has a big heart. Versatile character actor required (the actor needs to play him as elderly and also as his younger self) with good comic timing and the ability to hold a tune. Operates two simple handheld puppets for one musical number - no experience required.
