Over the course of a long weekend, two men from different backgrounds meet unexpectedly and develop a connection that neither anticipated.

What begins as a chance encounter gradually develops into something more meaningful, as the pair explore their attraction, personal experiences and the possibility of a future together.

As their weekend draws to a close, both must decide whether their connection is simply a fleeting romance or the beginning of something lasting.

The film explores love, identity, cultural differences and the courage to take a chance on someone.

We are seeking a male actor to portray a 30-year-old gay man who lives in Brighton.

The character is confident and independent, with a warm personality, but also has a more vulnerable side that gradually emerges as his relationship develops.

The successful actor will need to portray a range of emotions, from light-hearted humour and flirtation to vulnerability and romantic intimacy.

Requirements:

Playing age approximately 28–35.

White British appearance, consistent with the character.

Strong naturalistic acting ability.

Comfortable portraying a same-sex romantic relationship.

Comfortable with kissing, physical affection and scripted intimate scenes.

Able to work collaboratively with the director and fellow lead actor.

INTIMACY AND NUDITY

Both lead roles involve romantic and intimate scenes, including kissing, physical affection and a prolonged bedroom sequence.

The bedroom sequence includes the characters gradually undressing and features non-frontal nudity, including rear nudity.

No frontal nudity or explicit sexual activity will be required.

All intimate scenes will be carefully planned, choreographed and filmed professionally, with clear boundaries, informed consent and appropriate closed-set arrangements. An intimacy coordinator will be engaged for these scenes.

Full details will be discussed privately with shortlisted actors before any agreement is made. No nudity or intimate physical contact will be required during auditions.

EXPERIENCE

We welcome applications from both experienced actors and talented newcomers.

Previous professional screen credits are not essential. We are particularly interested in performers who can bring authenticity, emotional honesty and natural chemistry to their roles.
