Set in a post-apocalyptic near future, four preteen girls pass the time in their bunker by performing their very own play to remember their lives before. Or at least what they remember of their lives before… Luckily they’ve got heaps of DVDs, CDs and books to fill in the blanks! These Are Words That Go Together Well is a comedy drama that explores femininity and adolescent identity. With a dystopian setting, this play uses fascial comedy and gritty drama to address how contemporary misogyny creeps into the mediums that form our identity.

We are casting for an outgoing, collaborative comedy actor to join our four nameless preteen girls who co-lead the play.
GIRL 3 is a timid, people pleaser with a free spirit. In the play, she takes on characters that allow her to be outlandish and wild such as a prudish old lady or a foul-mouthed rascal.
What we are looking for:
A femme presenting actor (18-30)
Skilled at multirolling
Skilled with accents (preferred)
Strong comedic timing and talent whilst being convincingly tender.
You do not need to look like an 11 year old!
We are looking for an actor with the ability to play extravagant, heightened characters whilst still being vulnerable and endearing. Don’t be afraid to get silly with it! - Salary
