Pressure is a short road-safety PSA focused on the relationship between everyday stress, impatience and speeding.
The film follows Sarah, a working mother driving home after a demanding day. What begins as ordinary frustration gradually affects her judgement behind the wheel, leading to a moment that forces her to recognise how quickly a small decision can become a serious risk.
The purpose of the campaign is to present speeding in a recognisable, human context rather than as deliberate reckless behaviour. The film explores how tiredness, lateness, work pressure and the desire to get home can all contribute to poor decisions on the road.
The tone will be naturalistic, intimate and performance-led, with the driving sequences used to reflect Sarah’s changing emotional state without overplaying the message.
The central campaign message is:
“The more pressure you’re under, the less you should put on the pedal.”
The completed film is intended for use as a road-safety awareness campaign used in seminars but also online and social media platforms, with the possibility of additional digital, still and campaign use subject to final distribution arrangements.
We are casting the lead role of Sarah and are looking for a performer capable of delivering a subtle, believable screen performance with a strong emotional progression from fatigue and frustration through to fear and self-awareness.

Pressure is a short road-safety PSA focused on the relationship between stress and speeding. The film follows Sarah, a tired and overstretched mother driving home after work. As the pressure of her day builds, so does the pressure she puts on the accelerator, culminating in a sudden near miss that forces her to confront how dangerously she is driving.
The film will be naturalistic, tense and performance-led, with the accelerator pressure used as a recurring visual motif. We are looking for a strong, subtle screen performance rather than exaggerated drama. - Salary
