A tense, darkly funny two-hander in which two people are pushed under pressure until the cracks show and the truth comes out. We're seeking actors with strong emotional range and sharp comedic timing to bring this story to life.
A full script will be provided. Improvisation will be welcomed during auditions and rehearsals to build chemistry and keep the dialogue natural.
Fluent English speakers only. Open to all ethnicities, however, Ben and Stranger (played by two actors as one character) must be cast as the same ethnicity as one another, with the same or a very similar accent.

Director: Eirini Konstantinidou, whose previous feature Mnemophrenia (2019) received a Festival Director's Commendation at the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival in 2019 and is now streaming. We're aiming to secure similar distribution and streaming placement for this film.

Not every actor is required for the full shoot window. Each role has its own confirmed shoot days, plus one travel day before and one after, which will be shared with cast once casting is finalised.

Attractive and neatly put-together, intelligent, articulate, and outwardly confident. Jo is a couples’ therapist and sees her clients as puzzles to be solved. She is a little OCD and like many therapists has something of a blind spot about her own peculiarities. Somewhat controlling, she thinks she's just helping others get over the problems that they can't see because they don't have Jo's expertise. Needs to be in control of every situation and exert her intelligence.

Salary

Compensation: This is a credit-only production, a genuine passion project made to festival and streaming standard, not for profit. In place of a fee, we fully cover all travel, accommodation, and meals: flights will be booked directly by production, so there's nothing for cast to pay for or claim back later. On completion, the film will be submitted to festivals across the UK, Europe, and the US, with the aim of securing distribution and streaming placement in line with the director's existing track record.
