We are seeking actors for a short social campaign film on behalf of Manchester City Council's Crisis Resilience Fund.
This film will depict a variety of ordinary people engaging in daily activities in Manchester, accompanied by a voiceover that explains how the Crisis Resilience Fund can offer one-time assistance when unexpected expenses threaten to escalate into a financial crisis.
This is not an enactment of poverty or financial struggle. We will not require performers to portray distress or visible hardship. The visual style is warm, natural, and observational, capturing subtle moments of everyday life in Manchester.
There will be no direct dialogue or lines to memorize. Performances will revolve around simple, natural activities and interactions.
Filming is scheduled to take place in Manchester over the course of one day, tentatively set for the 5th of October. - Dates

We are looking for a mum with one or ideally two children to appear together as a real family unit.
We'd particularly welcome applications from mixed-ethnicity families, although we're open to families from all backgrounds and will be casting the campaign as a whole to reflect the diversity of Manchester.
The scenes are very natural: walking together through a residential area, Mum looking after/interacting with the children, a brief moment using her phone at home, and relaxed family time together.
We are particularly interested in real parents applying with their own children, as we want the interactions to feel completely comfortable and natural.
Children: Ideally one younger child and one primary-school-age child. Exact ages flexible depending on applications. - Salary
- Estimated 4 hours of work Total: £350
- Age
- 28 - 40
