TaleGate Theatre is seeking energetic and skilled performers to bring our #SquadGhouls pumpkin patch crew to life for families this October. This role offers a chance to be part of an amazing immersive experience that combines pantomime-style storytelling with interactive play and improv.

Set in the pumpkin patch at Attwell Farm Park, the event is filled with engaging character interactions and fun moments. We're looking for performers who excel at improvisation, enjoy connecting with children and families, and can work together to create unforgettable experiences.

Dates

Rehearsal: Friday 2nd October 2026
Performances: 3rd & 4th Oct, 10th & 11th Oct, 17th & 18th Oct, 23rd Oct- 1st Nov
PLEASE NOTE: Performers must be available for ALL dates
Working hours: 11am to 7pm with one thirty minute break
All rehearsals and performances based at Attwell Farm Park Seafield Ln, Redditch, England.

Performers will create and deliver interactive theatrical experiences for families visiting the pumpkin patch at Attwell Farm Park. You will develop and inhabit unique characters and respond creatively to audience interaction. Whilst a framework and story will be provided, the role relies heavily on improvisation and your ability to bring the world to life beyond a fixed script.

Required Skills and Qualities
Professional training or significant experience in acting, dance or music


Strong improvisation skills and the ability to adapt in the moment


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with audiences of all ages


A collaborative, positive attitude and professionalism under pressure


Reliability, energy and enthusiasm for creating joyful and magical experiences
