Northeast Producers specialise in creating professional, affordable and entertaining productions that are adaptable to any space or playing area. Our Pocket productions are performed seamlessly by two professional performers.

Our main aim is to make theatre more accessible; We pride ourselves on the passion we have to achieve this aim. We stage our productions in a vast amount Residential and Nursing Homes, Sheltered Accommodation and Independent Living Centre’s around the UK. Although some of our Northern tours also perform in schools.

Before applying to work with us please consider the style of work we do; our shows are performed for anyone who wants them; we take our shows to those who may struggle for whatever reason to get out to the theatre. Our tours are extremely well organised and structured with 90% of our audiences being returning customers.

We like our performers to have a warm approachable attitudes and to enjoy the variation in the job.

We are looking for a warm, approachable and engaging actor with a strong singing voice. You must enjoy working closely with audiences. We enjoy opening our scripts up to the audiences and sometime the audience input can take you off script so improvisation skills the ability to add lib would be an advantage.
Salary
Fee is £520 per week for non drivers and £560 per week for drivers, which is paid pro rata, based on a six day working week performing three shows a day.
