"Lights Out" offers a deeply atmospheric exploration of isolation and its psychological effects. The story follows our unnamed protagonist, who appears to be stranded in an abandoned lighthouse. He passes his days performing routine chores and listening to the radio for any hint of other life—a task laden with equal parts hope and despair. As time wears on, the solitude begins to affect his mind, leading him to envision things such as a captivating visitor named Helena and enormous, rusted ships near the coast. Are these visions mere figments of his imagination, or do they hold some truth? This short film is a stylized, emotional journey through a mind on the brink.

Caucasian male, In his late twenties to mid thirties, average height and build – but in fairly good shape.
Characterful face with piercing eyes, not hardened, there’s a world weariness about him, he’s been alone for a long time and it shows.
There’s a hint of ex military about him, but it’s been years since he’s had to salute anyone – dressed in a mixture of old military fatigues and weathered fisherman jumper – he cuts an odd almost quirky figure.
Could have beard / facial hair and slightly unkempt hair – but not essential.
