We’re looking for confident, charismatic and highly interactive roaming actors to bring the world of Halloween to life at Paultons Park!

As a Witch Roaming Actor, you’ll become part of the Halloween world, immersing guests in the atmosphere and creating memorable, fun and theatrical interactions throughout the park.

You’ll be roaming around the Halloween areas, engaging with guests of all ages, improvising in character and helping to create an exciting and immersive Halloween experience.

The character will have a strong witch aesthetic and theatrical presence, with performers encouraged to develop a distinctive character and use physicality, comedy and improvisation to entertain guests.

Hand-balancing or circus skills would be a bonus, but are not essential. We are particularly interested in performers who already have hand-balancing experience or who are confident and willing to learn and incorporate simple hand-balancing or physical skills into their character.

Rehearsals (Paultons Park): Tuesday 13th October, Wednesday 14th October & Thursday 15th October 2026
Performance Dates (Paultons Park): Sat 17th October – Sun 1st November 2026

What You’ll Be Doing
* Roaming throughout the park in full Witch character and costume
* Interacting and improvising with guests in character
* Creating fun, memorable and spontaneous moments for families and children
* Welcoming guests into the Halloween world and encouraging them to get involved
* Performing character-led interactions and short improvised scenes
* Using physicality, comedy and theatrical skills to bring the character to life
* Staying fully in character while working in a busy theme park environment
* Helping to create a lively, theatrical and immersive Halloween atmosphere
* Working as part of a wider cast and entertainment team
* Following direction from the TAG Live® Team and Paultons Team and adhering to all park procedures

We’re Looking For

We’re looking for performers who are:
* Confident and outgoing, with a natural ability to engage with the public
* Strong improvisers who can think quickly and react in character
* Comfortable approaching and interacting with guests
* Energetic, playful and enthusiastic
* Great with children, families and large groups
* Able to maintain a strong character throughout a shift
* Physically expressive and confident using movement as part of their performance
* Experienced in street theatre, immersive entertainment, character work, theatre, circus or similar
* Comfortable performing outdoors and in a busy theme park environment
* Reliable, professional and a strong team player

Previous experience is not essential - what’s most important is your ability to create an engaging character and confidently interact with guests.

Salary

Fee: £120 per working day Varying start/ finish times all falling between 9:15am - 19:45pm All days will be a maxium of 7 working hours. (timings given on contract acceptance, before rehearsals commence) Working Week & Hours – Rehearsals 42 hours per working week. Working Week & Hours – On resort 42 hours per working week.
