Synopsis: A woman moves through the town, putting up missing posters. On each one, a photograph — and a name. Sophie. Captured in joyful, happy moments: reunited with family, walking by the river with someone she loves, surrounded by friends who celebrate and adore her - she is clearly loved and belongs. But who is Sophie and why is she missing?

Told without scripted dialogue and focusing on naturalistic performances, MISSING is a story about depression and the quiet courage it takes, on our darkest days, to reach back toward the light.

As part of a flashback scene - Sophie is photographed the moment she arrives at a restaurant and is surprised by a large group of friends who have all come together to celebrate her. Sophie will then mingle and interact with her friends - raise a glass, open gifts, laugh, joke, share a hug.
You will be part of the 'surprise' event.

This is an unscripted film, focusing on naturalistic performances.
