SUMMARY: In this mystery romance series, two women: Valentina Blackthorne, a vampire from the Blackthorne aristocratic family, who flirts too much, making her a known troublemaker and Elizabeth Ashwood, a serious and uptight vampire detective, who is keeping too many secrets about her past, are brought together by fate to team up and solve the mystery of a trail of dead vampires. Every new piece of the puzzle added in this adventure brings Valentina and Elizabeth closer together making sparks fly between them, but do they have the courage to act upon it, when there are still secrets between them?

They clicked immediately and worked well together as a team. They have been work partners and then later best friends, after 1 year of Elizabeth warming up to Ryan, ever since.
