Crys (nonbinary, assigned female at birth) is quiet, observant, and emotionally guarded, often staying at the edges of social situations until they feel safe enough to open up. But with Marina, Crys can settle into a familiar ease that's difficult to find elsewhere. The two have known each other since childhood, and although their lives are moving in different directions, Crys arrives at Marina’s bachelorette weekend hoping to recover some of the closeness they once shared. They long for intimacy with Marina but are reluctant to ask for more than she is prepared to give. Roles are required to swim in a pool. There'll be a lifeguard present to ensure safety.
