Seeking performers for a touring production of "Dick Whittington and His Cat." We are looking for enthusiastic and personable actors to join a three-person team in this family-friendly pantomime. The tour will last approximately three to four-and-a-half weeks, with performances scheduled in schools across London, nearby counties, or potentially nationwide.

Rehearses in London; auditions Sept. 3-4; tours run approximately three to four-and-a-half weeks covering London and surrounding counties or nationwide in schools. Note: Rehearsals will be in London. Rehearsals End of November (team dependent)

Dame Fitzwarren/Tommy the Cat

Dame Fitzwarren is the classic panto dame and a wonderfully questionable mother. She is silly, cheeky and gloriously awful, with great comic timing, plenty of fun one-liners and a love of playing around with both the audience and the other characters.
The performer will also double as Tommy the Cat, who is playful, physical and full of personality. We are looking for someone with strong comedy skills, lots of energy and the confidence to really engage with an audience.
Note: We are looking for drivers, with one driver required per team, so being able to drive is a plus but not a necessity. We hire cars for the tour, although we can also pay to use your own vehicle if preferred.
£137 per performance day, including holiday pay. All performers will be paid before Christmas.
Those staying at home will need to be London based. When staying away, you will have your own room in either a Premier Inn or Travelodge, plus £10 per day towards food.
