Casting actors for central lead roles. "The Horrifying Tale of The Brothers Grimm" is an original historical mystery play blending history, suspense, dark humour, romance, and lively musical moments presented as an immersive dinner theatre experience in Gastown. From Vancouver Dinner Theatre, the production seeks strong performers with stage presence, emotional range, and a love of scripted storytelling
Additional: $100 CAD paid in cash on arrival for each performance. $600 total for 6 performances. Note: you will be paid twice on Oct. 31 for two showings. - Dates
- Rehearses Sept. 23, Sept. 30, and Oct. 7 (5-10 p.m.) at Carousel Theatre for Young People; shoots Oct. 14, 21, 28, and 30 (5-8:45 p.m.), and Oct. 31 (3:30-10:00 p.m., two showings) in Gastown, Vancouver, BC.

A lost soul trapped in a difficult situation without any way out. She is a runaway Princess who escaped the cruel king, Augustus, whom she was betrothed to. Unfortunately, nothing has gone as planned, and she’s been forced to work at a local tavern in Berlin for room and board. The woman she works for is cruel to her and makes her life miserable out of jealousy and spite. As bad as life gets, she fears more what might happen if she is found by the powerful man she escaped. Central character with substantial dialogue and stage time.
