Content
Sakura Productions is producing a promotional film for the Retired Police Officers Association Scotland (RPOAS).
The film explores what happens when a career in policing comes to an end and the importance of staying connected to the wider policing family.
Through three individual stories, we explore retirement, identity, friendship, wellbeing and the support available through RPOAS. The film will feature three speaking roles, Fiona, David and Alistair, each offering a different perspective on life after policing.
We are looking for natural, believable performances that feel genuine and conversational rather than overly theatrical. Some of the material is emotional, so actors should be comfortable handling more serious subject matter with subtlety.
A natural Scottish accent is preferred, ideally from actors based in Scotland.
The finished film will be professionally produced and used by RPOAS across its website, social media and wider promotional and communications channels.
